Eagle 1X: The Latest by Sram

28 March 2016

It’s here: Sram Eagle! The leader in 1x technology once again revolutionizes the 1x market with their latest drivetrain. The headlines: out with the “old” 10- and 11-speed drives, in comes 12-speed. Sram has taken their knowledge gained from the xx1 and x01 groupsets, and applied it to the new Eagle range. The results: a better derailleur, a 12-speed cassette with a wider range, and a high-tech optimised chain designed to last twice as long and work silently with the brand new strong and rigid hollow carbon crank. Carbon has been used throughout the entire range, thus shedding weight and giving you an edge over the competition!

The XX1 Eagle drive has been specifically designed for cross-country use. With a 500% gear range, Sram now offers a system which can fully compete with a double chain ring system. With the improved durability, which Sram claims has doubled over its predecessor, the XX1 set is all you’re going to need for years to come. New group, new rules, offering you ultimate freedom.
