The Wolf Tooth Elliptical oval chainrings are suitable for Shimano 104 mm BCD cranksets and make for better power distribution and power transfer on your drivetrain. Thanks to the Wolf Tooth's oval chainring, the dead point in your pedal stroke is eliminated. The point where the force is the smallest, the chainring is immediately lifted over the dead point. Wolf Tooth's patented design means a slightly (10%) less oval shape with a less aggressive position (112°) than competitors' variants.

An oval chainring's diametre is equivalent to that of one that has 2 more teeth at the point where you can put most toque on your pedals for the best power transfer.
