Thule Coaster XT Bike Trailer

The Thule Coaster XT is a comfortable and safe bike trailer for transporting one or two children. With the transparent roll closure at the front and the side windows made of ventilating gauze, your children will feel like they're on a real travel adventure!

On the road with peace of mind!
The Thule Coaster XT not only complies with international safety standards, but also has reflectors on the front, the back and the wheels, and is an eye-catching blue colour. The Coaster XT has a slot on the left of the rear side into which the included safety flag can be inserted to increase visibility in traffic. Furthermore, the five-point harness will keep your child safe and secure while in the bike trailer. And finally, the Coaster XT is equipped with a handbrake.

Bicycle trailer and stroller
The Thule Coaster XT is easy to convert into a stroller. It has an adjustable HeightRight push handle for extra comfort for the parents, and the front wheel is easy to turn around. This makes it easy to push the trailer and use it for a nice walk in the park, the forest, et cetera.

Compact and practical
After use, the Coaster XT does not need to take up a lot of space in the garden or shed. The Coaster XT is largely collapsible and the wheels are easy to remove, creating a compact package. In addition, the trailer can be used for transporting things such as groceries because it has a compact storage space at the back. The things will not easily get wet, as the Thule Coaster is largely waterproof. So you and your children can enjoy shopping together!

Mounting on the bike
The Thule Coaster XT comes with an ezHitch axle mount that makes disconnecting the bike trailer easy. The trailer is not permanently attached to your bike. The ezHitch axlemount is mounted on the rear axle or quick-release coupling of the rear wheel of your bike. Would you like to use the Thule Coaster XT for a second bike? Then an extra axle mount can be bought separately.

What is the maximum speed of this bike trailer?
You can go up to 25 km/h with the Thule Coaster XT.

Is the Thule axle hitch (ezHitch) compatible with a bike with disc brakes?
In theory, yes, but you do need an adapter in order to make it work. Most bikes with disc brakes have thru axles and the Coaster XT only includes a quick release mount as standard. The exact adapter you need for you bike can be found here. Unfortunately we do not have these in our range.
