The Sram eTAP battery for the Sram eTAP groupsets. The battery is compatible with both the front- and rear derailleur. This way, Sram has solved the problem of not being able to change gears because of a flat battery: simply swap the front and rear, and you're good to go. So if one of them fails during your ride, you'll always be able to swap them and get home comfortably.
