Wahoo ELEMNT ACE

Initially a bit of a search. You can't pair the ACE with the elemnt app but do you have to pair it with the Wahoo app. This is not clearly described anywhere. But in the end I succeeded

Pros & Cons

The Wahoo Element Ace is currently the most advanced device. Easy to use, innovative futures, very long battery life, transmission and recording runs accurately and smoothly. Super readable display, the size is frightening but you don't want to miss it anymore, quick to read and the map display makes it a highlight. Some cycling friends have the Bolt and Roam and are now making the switch

Is perfect and intuitive like the Elemnt Roam V.2. No comparison with a competitor from another company. Touch is a nice extra, but not absolutely necessary. The wind sensor is no more sensitive than the pressure I felt on my face and on the pedals. The Elemnt roam V.3 would probably have been the ideal choice. But it wasn't available yet. Now the ACE is here and I love using it. Weight is secondary, there's enough on the saddle.

I use it mainly for navigation and orientation and it is perfect for that. The screen is easy to read and the map material is detailed. Very compatible with both cycling on well-trodden paths and MTB tracks. The device was also easy for me as a long-time Garmin user to adjust to my needs.

Pros & Cons

A few small bugs that don't prevent the GPS from working properly. A major upgrade is still needed to rectify this.
