Fine band with one major drawback

- Niels, 29 April, 2023

It rides wonderfully smooth and in corners you can just hear how much grip you have because of the coarser tread on the sides. Unfortunately, my heart was broken by puncturing in three consecutive rides due to small sharp pebbles/sand grains apparently easily poking into the inner tube in the small space between the black strips. I feared that three times in such a short time was no longer a coincidence, so I ran back to that German competitor.

Pros & Cons

Fast
Looks great
Lots of grip
Often puncture

Is not worth its money !!!

- Alain Ferbuyt, 20 March, 2022

The sidewall cannot take much, with the result that the tire is no longer nicely rounded !!!

Pros & Cons

Beautiful on bicycle
Sidewall is quickly broken
Very fast leak

Expectations crushed hard

- P., 27 October, 2021

Have driven 400 km with it now and punctured 2x. Both times in wet weather. I ride with the 25mm and 7bar due to my weight and 19c rim. Have ridden faster tires, these look like tractor tires. That they roll a little less was known to me, but that bad.... For me no Corsa Control G2 again.

Pros & Cons

Grip
The looks of the skinwall
Putting it around the Mavic Comic Pro terrible!
Quick leak
Rolling resistance

Fragile and wears out quickly.

- Tanguy, 9 August, 2021

I thought I'd found a good all-round tire, but I didn't. There's a lot of hype around this tire, but in the end, it's not crazy at all. It's far from the qualities and performance of the GP5000. The Vittoria's rubber breaks down quickly, the lines retain crud on the tire and cause punctures, the sidewalls are super fragile and wet grip leaves a lot to be desired. I've only done 2,500km with them, and they're rinsed... 12 or 13 punctures in all, the tread is full of holes and the rubber has melted visibly. In the dry, provided the tires are new, grip is pretty good. So I'm going back to GP5000s (4000km minimum).

Pros & Cons

Design
Dry grip
Fragile
Wear too fast
Wet grip

Leaky as a sieve

- Gert, 10 January, 2021

This is absolutely not a tire for winter. Without exaggeration in the first 1000 km 8 punctures. Both front and rear. Admittedly, they do look nice.

Pros & Cons

nice
quick leak

Wears out quickly, often punctures, a mediocre tire.

- Leon, 19 November, 2020

Moderate tire, punctures quickly and often, tears quickly, wears out quickly and can hardly be put around the rim without an aid. All in all, a (very) mediocre tire. Too bad.

Pros & Cons

Difficult to get the rim.
Leak resistance.
Wears out (very!) quickly.

Continuous punctures disappointed

- Oscar, 24 August, 2020

Very good aesthetics, good rolling but I had never punctured as with these tires. Compared to the Continental Gran Prix 4000 the difference in punctures is beastly. With the Conrinental in the last 3000 kms 1 puncture. With the Vittoria 600 kms 3 punctures.

Pros & Cons

Aesthetics
Easy assembly
Roll
Very easy to puncture

There are better tires on the market.

- P., 15 August, 2020

Personally, I think they are not going in the right direction with the graphene series. The 2.0 is also unconvincing. Switched to the peacestein fortezza senso superiore. Fine smooth tire. Good tread.

Pros & Cons

Good cornering grip
Reasonably smooth
Cheap appearance
Lots of noise
Poor tread
