Nice device if it works
Fine when it works, but every few weeks the connection to the laptop breaks down and Zwift no longer works. Very unfortunate because I found it a fun way to train
Pros & Cons

Fine coach but my expectations were a bit higher.
I don't see particularly many advantages over cheaper exercise bikes that can have their own bikes attached.

Entry-level device with weaknesses
I have now bought the Flux S for my wife in addition to the Neo. It is very quiet and connects quickly with the chest strap and the iPad. It is sufficient for normal Zwift rides. Unfortunately, the Flux S is much too weak, you have to switch during training sessions in ERG mode (NEO or Kickr this is not necessary). Calibrating before every ride is annoying, but not necessary with the NEO. When the unit warms up, you can hear a slight grinding noise from the electronics. The power plug is behind the unit and sticks out unprotected. Unfortunately, it is very easy to step on the plug unintentionally and damage the socket. For the purpose for which it was purchased, i.e. for occasional Zwift rides, the device is recommendable. However, if you want to run training programmes in ERG mode, you should buy a more powerful Smart Trainer.

Not usable for now if you have Campagnolo groups
Concerns the latest model tacx flux s smart, were it not for the fact that if you ride campagnolo you need a special freewheel which is not yet available.... Will take another 5-8 weeks. Bad business from Tacx! (not from Mantel by the way)

fine thing, but complicated assembly
As a not so handy cyclist, it is difficult to be clear about what all needs to be ordered to be able to use. Both parts and software to use. A `difficult' explanation is needed

Reasonably satisfied
More problems with cassette and derailleur adjustment than might be expected from the how-to videos

Correct
My previous trainer was very simple, so with this one I have noticed a big change. It allows me to do intense workouts and enjoy cycling at home when I can't go out. The cassette needs to be purchased separately.

Fine trainer and good service Mantel
Purchased almost two years ago and enjoyed it a lot, it worked perfectly, including pairing with sensors, tablet and phone, until after almost two years it started making noise while cycling. I was able to return it to Mantel just within the warranty period and two weeks later received the message that I will get a new device as soon as it is back in stock. Expect to get it in with two weeks so I can use it properly again now that the weather outside is starting to get worse. Hope the problem is fixed in the new range. Happy with service from Mantel and Tacx!

Nice and solid indoor trainer
Nice and sleek trainer easy to use.
Pros & Cons

Totally happy with product
Factory settings of flywheel is not as expected. Without using Tacx's app, it pedals very heavily. With application of app it is fine, but this does force the buyer to subscribe. This does not come across as fair
Pros & Cons

Particularly pleasant trainer
I had a bushido and because the wheel skidded, it did not give a nice training experience at all ... with the flux that is history... it is also whisper quiet
Pros & Cons

Great device for indoor training
Should brake a bit more on steep slopes. I don't need my lightest gear at 12% hills. Then I ride e.g. 7 km/h with a cadence of 90 rpm but on the 21 behind. Maybe a matter of calibration? Otherwise, it rides very true to nature and the trainer is very quiet. You can safely use it in a noisy flat I think.
Pros & Cons

Handy device for keeping fit
Handy device to keep up your fitness in winter. You do need a spacer to mount 8-Speed! Calibration on Zwift does not work.

Excellent bicycle trainer
Works well. Price-quality fine in my opinion.
Pros & Cons

Great device for winterising
Tacx is addictive, especially with the software you can use (30 days free) Swift I have yet to try, but I like the first introduction to a smarttrainer. Only drawback was the delivery time of the microspline body (and its price)

Decent entry level Smart Trainer
Out of the box it's pretty easy to set up - 2 bolts to secure the legs and plug in the power (UK Adaptor required). Annoyingly it didn't come with the front wheel support which I had to order extra, along with the Ant+ USB antenna to run on my laptop. (Rear Cassette and thru Adaptors are extra too of course) A shame the legs don't fold and there's no handle so can be awkward to manhandle around as it's pretty weighty. I have a fractured wrist from covid Lockdown cycling accident (hence the purchase) so once set in place it pretty much stays put. Fairly quiet in operation. Had an issue after about a week or two of use whereby I couldn't receive values from the trainer to any devices (Zwift, Rouvy TacX Training etc). Managed to eventually connect via Tacx Utility on IOS and do a fIrmware update which seemed to fix the issue. So far so good! 8/10 Mantel shopping experience has been faultless and informative from start to finish 10/10

fine, but outdoor cycling remains much nicer
Very nice device, very stable. The software from tacx is fairly sparse in my opinion. many videos are just aerial shots from google maps. does what it should do, make you sweat like an ox.

great
Have own business and can now cycle anytime so don't have to consider times. Icm Zwift and apple tv you experience a real ride. I am very happy with it. And at Mantel Den Bosch you get excellent and honest help.

Paying more attention to ict and offering an installation service.
Struggled considerably with ict installation. Bluetooth 4.0 appears to be minimum requirement. Tracx Ant+ Dongle bought but worked evemin on me laptop. Finally opted for installation on ipad with Rouvy app. Finally it works.

Just very happy with it!
Bought this Tacx to train better in the winter months with less weather, and I'm not a very hero for riding the road bike in the dark despite good lighting that I have, then this in combination with Zwift and a Tacx programme is a top solution

Best buy in terms of training!
If I had known about this earlier! What a great piece of equipment! Strong, compact and an incredibly fun challenging training programme. Say goodbye to cycling in the rain!

If you are thinking of buying, I strongly recommend you do so.
To start cycling again during the winter, I bought my Tacx Flux to connect and cycle on Zwift. I am very pleased with the product, which really forces me to struggle on the uphills as it gets heavier. A super fun training tool that feels extremely realistic.
Pros & Cons

Good value for money
Been in use for three years as a competitive rider. Use m mostly in winter. Really perfect model for normal riders. Max wattage is also more than enough. Only downside is that the erg mode fluctuates around the set wattage. So eg: 300 watts becomes: 290-310-305-285, etc.
Pros & Cons

Top product!
Good and quick connection with laptop, realistic driving, uphill goes really hard too
Pros & Cons

Top! Beware of addiction risk (icm zwift)
For me, ideal way to have started cycling! No leaks, no cars and just cycle! (Do buy a good fan, sweat mat for underneath, good quality cycling shorts (with good chamois), chamois cream and ant.+ usb right away. This is also an immediate drawback. High start-up costs. But in my opinion necessary if you get addicted to zwift for many hours a week!

Recommended, also as a first smart trainer
It took some searching to install the bike on it but once placed, no problems. Despite the weight, easy to move around. Stable while cycling and great slopes to make. Also very satisfied with delivery, delivered the very next day.

Fantastic
I switched from a regular smart turbo to the direct drive. The Tacx Flux was incredibly simple to set up and sync to Zwift. Its fairly quiet and well worth spending the extra money on a direct drive smart trainer. Highly recommended.

Great Trainer
Excellent trainer. Great service and fast delivery. Only negative with trainer I've found so far is that it can be a little unstable when out of the saddle.

Completely meets expectations. Just went to the shop quickly before the lockdown and was very well advised and helped with fitting a new cassette.

Beyond expectations fun!
I was keen to keep my fitness up to scratch on days when the weather in the Netherlands is not great. The Tacx combined with Zwift is a GOOD combination. I didn't expect indoor training to be so much fun. I live in a flat area where an 80-kilometre ride involves just under 60 to 80 altitude metres. Using this Tacx in combination with Zwift is ideal for training altitude metres.

Quiet and very simple bicycle trainer
Super simple direct drive trainer. Screw in two screws and screw on your cassette. Bike on and off you go. Because the Tacx is super quiet, you can also cycle at night when the children are in bed without complaints ;)

Beautiful product
It completely matches my expectations . It's nice to be able to start right away. Not too much fuss . I would personally raise the price slightly and then sell a cadet with it

Great for continuing interactive training in winter
My first direct drive Tacx. Quite a step forward compared to my old Tacx. Apart from a much more realistic uphill resistance, the device is also a lot quieter than my old Tacx. The experience with Zwift makes it even more challenging and allows you to continue training in the winter months.

Best buy in 2020
What a treat to be able to cycle with this Tacx. Training in the winter months has never been so easy. It really is plug-and-play, even with the connection to my laptop (Macbook Air), use Zwift for this. Installing the Shimano cassette was easy with the included fitting ring. The Tacx stays put when cycling, is quite heavy. Buying a sweat pad underneath is not a luxury. Compared to my old Tacx, this one is very quiet, of course you can hear shifting gears and the chain running. But the hum of the old Tacx has disappeared! The only downside for me would be that I would have liked to have had a handle or something on the Tacx, so that I could move it more easily after training. Otherwise a good purchase, very happy with it.
Pros & Cons

Great device
Enjoy cycling indoors with this nice trainer. If you connect it to software, it regulates the resistance itself while you can switch gears yourself. Great!
Pros & Cons

Super purchase
After waiting a while (not deliverable due to everyone buying one in the lockdown) delivered smoothly. Plug in and start. Control from Tacx app on Ipad is excellent, unfortunately not usable on older Apple desktop (not Metal compatible graphic card). Fun and challenging videos. Nice training schedules. Subscriptions cannot be controlled from the app. Ideal for training evenings in winter. Haven't tried Zwift yet. Still have to buy sweat mat

I was very positively surprised by the realistic feel the tacx Flaux S allows you to experience.
The tacx Flux S is very user-friendly, you take the device out of the box and 5 minutes later you are already cycling in a very extensive virtual world. Virtual cycling with the tacx approaches the feeling of real cycling much more than I expected.

Fantastic!
Long doubted that a direct drive trainer would be so much fun to cycle on right now, but not for a moment regretted it! The cycling feeling is very realistic, and combined with the online programmes makes indoor cycling very addictive! Very easy to assemble, so you can get started quickly.

Really Impressed
My first turbo trainer and decided to go for a smart direct drive despite the cost as I get it was worth it. So far I’m really pleased, it connects easily to Zwift, is very realistic and quiet. Using it most days and I love it. Highly recommended!

Just what I was looking for...
A very good home trainer, easy to install and use if you've thought about adding an Ant+ hub. To link up the various sensors (cadence, speed or heart rate). An added bonus is the 2 free one-month subscriptions to the Zwift and Tacx applications.

Great roller to complement your training

Research done, advice given, choice made! Top arranged at Mantel.
After researching, made the choice to go for the slightly more expensive model. No regrets yet. Works well, the Tacx app works fine. Nice training indoors like this!

So far very good
Fine bike trainer. Up to 10% incline is sufficient for me. Descending (fast turns) and watching the screen is a bit odd.
