Works, but why necessary?
Earlier, the shifters could just update wirelessly. That went fine. After the latest firmware update of the battery and derailleurs, a wire connection between the shifters and the battery is now required, so the saddle has to come off to dig up the battery.

Fine cable, unfortunately no cable strips
The description of this product says it comes with cable strips, it doesn't. The cable strips come with the EW-SD300-I. It literally says so on the box too.

Does what it needs to do.
Fine Di2 cable that does what you would expect it to do. I purchased this to connect my bike's shifters directly to the battery to perform firmware updates. This went fine and was also completed quickly. Cable is now in my toolbox until the next update is available again.
