Great bicycle sat nav
Used this twice now on 22 mile rides . Finds cycle routes and other great routes that you wouldnt necessarily find yourself . Stores your routes so you can look at them later .

Powerful little box
This item is deceptively easy to use and is more than just a satnav. You create your own tracks or down load from the Mioshare app. If you are looking for wireless connection then this is not for you. But, I'll bet you can't find a product with better maps for the price.

Good for satellite navigation
A solid well constructed sat nav, which is excellent for navigation. One of the few cycling devices that work like a car satnav. The routes chosen are excellent for cycling safely and sophisticated algorithms. Not the best for recording performance but then not designed for that.

Perfect cycling satnav
Solid construction and provides car like satnav functions. Routes chosen are on the whole safe with a sophisticated algorythm to find the best cycling route. Not the best for recording performance but then not designed for this.

Sophisticated, in a simple way
Like all the available GPS bike computers the Mio 210 works its electronic magic and guides you along your route without missing a beat. The colour screen is big and bright and seamlessly updates itself as you roll along. Wander off route and it not only alerts you but quickly plots your way back. Looking for variety? Easy, just touch the "Surprise Me" button and it will take you somewhere different, always interesting but never too far away. If your primary use for a bike computer is navigation, this could be the one for you. And, very important for someone who, like me, doesn't own a smartphone, you can plot your routes on a laptop or desktop and transfer them easily to the device. It offers a very decent 10 hour battery life, secures firmly to your bars or stem and is weather-proof against anything our climate can throw at us. What a bargain!

Great value & function. It could do with more processing power for recalculating routes on fly..

Up to expectations
I purchased this, very cheaply, to replace my unreliable Garmin 820. I only require a navigation device so this fits the bill. So far it has been navigationally faultless, which for me is a revelation. The battery life is suspect, but so far I have only used it for about 5 hours or so. There doesn’t appear to be a battery saving function but after switching it off it re-finds the route straight away unlike my garmin which usually looses the plot. Screen visibility is poor in bright sunlight unless you up the screen brightness which affects battery life. I have yet to test the anti-glare screen protector I have now fitted. My only real complaint is the mount which is cable tied on. Out front mounts are expensive, and the cheap aftermarket one I tried very poor. I have found slight modification makes the better garmin mounts useable. Overall very happy.

Great navigation, unfortunately the battery leaves something to be desired
Fine navigation without too many extensive options. Good readable map and online route builder from MIO is also fine. Big downside is that battery life is very short. After a year of normal use, the MIO often runs out of power after about 3 hours. On longer trips, you get so little use out of it. Another disadvantage is that it can sometimes take quite a long time (up to 15 minutes) for the GPS to connect.

A bit disappointing, but I'm not usually that good at this either that will take a while.
This week I used it for the first time from Nunspeet to Ermelo and it was 11.31 km and while cycling it also stayed 11.31 km?

Don't buy it unless you only cycle on cloudy days
In itself a fijna navigation, clear menus, but some very drawbacks. In somewhat sunny weather, the screen is impossible to read properly. And that is very important. hence the 2 stars. It also regularly has trouble starting the navigation. Unfortunately a real mis-buy.

Software error guiding soundless
Doesnt light up during navigation if you disable sound alert and have the screen turned of automatic. Only works with screen active all time. Battery time very poor, only about 3 hours at full charge.
