Solid and light for little
I already had a Fulcrum 818 DB set with HG freehub , but now had to have XDR. Since I already had Fulcrum and was happy with it, my choice was quickly made. The DB5 is a decent set for a low price! The weight I weighed myself is 1714 grams (without protective caps , tyres and valves) my old set was 2038 grams so definitely an upgrade! Tubeless making was easy , the tape is already well in there by default (that's not the case with all brands) I have 28 and 30mm tyres on it with Muc off valves.

A very good intermediate product in the range.
Very good value for money; this isn't my first Fulcrum; I've never been disappointed.

Mixed thoughts.
The wheelset weighs excluding the plastic caps etc 1698 grams and not the 1610 grams indicated by Mantel. A big difference which cannot be explained by production tolerances. Too bad the rim is matte because that is rough and more dirt sticks to it. Still have to use it so can't give a user experience yet.

Fantastic
Fantastic wheels, very very light for Alu product

Perfect in the mountains
After unveiling the wheel, it's perfect to use! Responsive and stiff, with low weight. The only drawback is that the centerlock disc requires a different key from the usual Shimano one.

Nice wheels but very difficult fitting tyres.
Nice wheels run well. Once I hit a stone on a dirt road and the rim cracked. From Fulcrum you don't get home then. At least you have to do a lot of work for it. Mantel handles this nicely though and tries to help you where possible. Mantel works with you to find a good solution.

complete comfort
Comfortable and light which makes them very pleasant to wear and the feel is extraordinary.
