Not for real athletes
Fine pedals for hobby, but not really mtb or downhill. Pedal axle is simply too high, so you feel it under your foot all the time when applying power.

Good value for money, but note the raised pedal axle
These pedals look cool at a reasonable price. The platform is plastic, which is fine in principle, but I prefer a metal platform. The pedal axle is higher than the rest of the platform, which is very annoying if you pay attention to it. The size large was bigger than my forefoot (size 45), so you don't enjoy the full support of the pins. My ones broke at the axle (first cracking, then breaking off) after 600km of moderate mtb'ing. Since the price had gone up in the meantime, I got my money back instead of a new set. This is a bit of a shame, but I decided to choose other pedals after this experience.

little grip
Nice pedals, unfortunately little grip in combination with my 5/10 shoes...
