According to the product specialist

Pros
These pedals provide excellent grip for shoes with smooth(er) soles.
These Shimano pedals have a very strong and durable build due to the use of aluminium.
The pedals are available in five colours!
These pedals have an excellent price-performance ratio.
The aluminium surface provides good support and plenty of grip.
The axle of this pedal is highly durable, and the bearings are sealed well.
More control and grip on your gravel bike or MTB on single trails and in fast descents.
Best used in combination with shoes from the Shimano GR series but can also be used with other MTB shoes.
Weighing 394g, 139g lighter than Shimano PD-GR500 pedals.
The included pins are height adjustable to decrease the risk of your feet slipping off the pedals.
The wide platform offers excellent support to your feet.
These pedals are also very suitable for e-bikes!
Cons
The pedals are relatively heavy.
These pedals are on the heavy side.
Due to the use of composite material, the pedal is more vulnerable to damage from rocks and sharp stones.
As these pedals are quite big, they are slightly more likely to get caught on an obstacle than smaller models.
Not lightweight at 592 grams.
