Cons
While not required, water does increase the absorption rate of the gel.

The sweet taste can be intense with repeated use but dissolving the gel in water makes it fresher and lighter.
Due to the high carbohydrate concentration, it is recommended to take this gel with a few sips of water.
The added caffeine makes the Black Currant, Green Apple and Espresso PowerGels unsuitable for children under the age of 18 and pregnant women.
