Durable and well Mavic QRM 2RS sealed bearings - something not often found on an entry level wheel set.
The 17 mm wide rim makes it possible to mount 25 to 32 mm wide tyres.
Great looks for an entry-level wheelset, thanks to the fully black rims.
The internal rim width of 17 mm is ideal for 25 mm tyres, increasing not only comfort but also stability while greatly reducing rolling resistance.
The ABS self-locking spoke nipples keep the hand-spoked wheels perfectly tensioned, which ensures a long wheel life.

The Shimano WH-RS300 is a comfortable wheelset.

Cons
The Mavic Aksium wheel set is only available with Shimano 10-11 speed body. A Mavic FTS-L Campagnolo body is can be ordered separately.
The anodised brake track will disappear over time and change colour to plain aluminium.
Relatively heavy, but this is normal for a wheelset in this price range.
The black brake surface loses its colour quite quickly due to wear.
