Pros
At 1540 grams, the Zipp 303 S Tubeless Disc Brake is light enough for uphill riding, but aerodynamic enough for downhill riding thanks to its 45 mm high rim.
With an internal rim width of 23 mm, 28 mm tyres work best, with maximum aerodynamic benefits and the lowest rolling resistance.
The Zipp 76/176 hubs are virtually maintenance-free, very reliable and continue to work well over the long term.

Tubeless tyres can be fitted to the rims with or without inner tubes. This makes it possible to ride tubeless, with advantages such as lower rolling resistance, better grip and more comfort.

D3 Dual Directional Design rim profile reduces air resistance around the tyre and rim.

The Zipp 303 S is only suitable for tubeless (ready) tyres at a maximum pressure of 5 bar, not for normal folding tyres.
The 3-pawl body grips less quickly than, for example, a ratchet body.
Only the following tyres can be fitted to these hookless rims with an internal rim width of 23 mm: Click here.
With 1699 grams not the lightest wheel set for in hilly terrain.
Not possible to mount 23mm or 25mm tyres on the wide rims.
Only suited for centrelock disc brake rotor mount, not for 6-bolt mounts.
