According to the product specialist

Pros
The SLW2 Dial Plus closure system allows you to precisely tune the fit, even when you're on the bike.
The carbon reinforced sole ensures the shoe is extremely rigid.
The shoes are waterproof and highly breathable due to the elastic membrane upper.
The shoes have a double Velcro closure for an extra secure fit.
With 3M insulation and fleece lining, the shoes offer superb insulation in cold conditions.
An internal quick lace system ensures an optimal fit around the foot.
The nylon fibreglass outsole provides sufficient stiffness.
The perforated synthetic leather creates a great fit and breathability.
This cycling shoe can be adjusted quickly and precisely with the BOA® L6 dial closure.
The nylon sole is reinforced with fibreglass, which ensures better power transfer.
The integrated seamless midsole gives the RC300 more stability.
Excellent fit due to the new X-Dial SLW3 fastening mechanism.
The NRG Air Carbon sole offers both comfort and good power transfer.
The AirFlow system provides an ideal airflow along the bottom of the shoe.
Thanks to the Unibody construction, there are no pressure points on the foot.
The ventilation holes across the shoe ensure good breathability.
Cons
Plenty of ventilation, which is great in summer but not so much in winter.
If you're looking for a stiff outsole, the nylon fibreglass sole in this shoe may not fully meet that requirement.
Although the shoes are waterproof, water may get into them through the top.
Although the nylon sole has been reinforced with fibreglass it is still not as stiff as a full carbon sole.
With a full carbon sole, the power transfer to the pedals is even better than with this sole.
In order to use the shoe with SPD pedals, you will need a separate adapter. This does not come with the shoes as standard.
