Use
First-time use:
1. Degrease your drivetrain thoroughly with a chain cleaner and rinse off.
2. Dry the parts well with a cloth.
3. Apply the lube to all the links on the inside of the entire chain.
4. Leave the lube to penetrate.
5. Wipe off excess lube with a cloth.
6. Hop on your bike and off you go!

For follow-up use, clean and degrease the chain throroughly, wipe with a dry cloth or brush, then apply the lubricant to each chain link again.

When, and how often should I lubricate my bike chain?
There is no straightforward answer to this question because it depends very much on how often you ride and what sort of lubricant you use. The best thing to do is to check for chain dryness, which can be seen or heard. Another sign that you need to re-lubricate is that your chain is very dirty, from cycling in the rain for example. In case of a dirty chain, make sure to clean the chain well before re-applying lubricant. Over time you will also learn to feel when it is best to lubricate.
