Continental Contact Plus Tyre

The Continental Contact Plus tyre is an allrounder which offers you everything you'd expect from a comfortable touring tyre. Another highly elastic material has been added to the SafetySystem Breaker, especially for E-bikes. This makes for an extremely strong Breaker with a very low rolling resistance, making it less damaging to the battery and the environment. The durable tyre
Continental relied on their 100+ years of experience in developing scooter and motorcycle tyres when they developed the ECO-logo tyres. ECO tyres have low rolling resistance and excellent puncture protection, and are specifically tailored for use with E-bikes capable of speeds up to 25 km/h. The durability of these tyres was specifically tested with E-bikes to see what influence the extra wear has caused by the propulsion of the electric motor. Multiple models, such as the Top CONTACT II, have the ECE-R75 certification, meaning they can also be used with fast E-bikes that can go up to 50 km/h.

Ordering advice
Both tyre widths are suitable for city bikes, electric bikes and trekking bikes (28 inch wheel size). Select the 42mm tyre if you're looking for more comfort, control and reliability. The 37mm tyre is more of a standard width for these sorts of bikes, and it meets all standard requirements.
