SRAM XX Eagle Transmission AXS T-type Groupset

The SRAM XX Eagle AXS groupset ranks among the top lightweight high-performance mountain bike groupsets within SRAM's range. Being able to shift gears under load is important in mountain biking to minimise power loss. In this set, this is possible due to the combination of the direct mount rear derailleur system and the 44 shift assist points on the cassette.

The SRAM XX Eagle DUB crankset is the most advanced, rigid and lightweight carbon MTB crankset SRAM has ever made, and includes an innovative design. The SRAM XX Eagle AXS rear derailleur consists of individually replaceable parts and is fully integrated with the frame. Add the chain that is fully approved for e-MTB use, and you have a groupset that shifts perfectly in all conditions, with an AXS Pod controller that is fully customisable via the AXS app.

Note! The rear derailleur of this SRAM XX EAGLE AXS groupset is only made for UHD (Universal Derailleur Hanger) frames in which the derailleur is mounted directly to the frame.

Shifter
De AXS Pod controller is even lighter than previous Eagle AXS shifters and offers improved ergonomics as well as a huge adjustability range. The shifter design includes 2 buttons and allows riders to personalise button assignments via the AXS App. As the AXS Pod controller has a unique flippable design, it can be installed for left- or right-hand use. Although it is only one component, it offers a world of possibilities.

Rear derailleur
Whether you are at the start of a race or a private ride, the direct mount SRAM XX Eagle (T-type) rear derailleur gives you a great advantage, viz. maximum power transfer even while shifting. Integrated into the frame along with the other components, the XX Eagle direct mount derailleur system provides unprecedented power transfer, in direct contact with the cassette. This changes the whole relationship between cassette and derailleur, and ensures a much stronger connection than we have seen so far on mountain bikes. Another important advantage is that the derailleur parts can be replaced individually.

Crankset
When looking at a groupset, we tend to notice the crankset first. In this XX Eagle AXS groupset, SRAM has paid a lot of attention to the crankset both in terms of performance and aesthetics. This gorgeous crankset is one of the most lightweight advanced carbon cranksets SRAM has ever made. XX brings serious riders what they expect: the best power transfer at a more affordable price. The all-carbon design makes for a perfect balance between stiffness and weight. A power meter can be fitted optionally after purchase. The crankset is the absolute centrepiece of this SRAM XX Eagle groupset.

Cassette
The XX Eagle (T-type) cassette is a key reason why Eagle Transmission provides the best shifting performance under load. The XX Eagle transmission cassette and direct mount rear derailleur ensure perfect alignment on any T-type mountain bike frame. The Dark Polar finish ensures incredible corrosion and wear resistance. Its strength is confirmed by its full approval for e-MTB use. It is built for a 55 mm chainline for even higher durability and precision thanks to fewer full-range chain angles. It makes for a huge 520% shifting range.

Chain
The XX Eagle transmission (T-type) flat-top chain is so much more than just a chain. It was specifically designed to further optimise SRAM XX Eagle shifting performance. Its unique flat-top design makes it the strongest chain SRAM has ever made, and it enhances the look of any bike. Details are equally important. The chain has a Hard Chrome finish with a PVD coating and hollow pins for incredible corrosion resistance, high durability and low weight. It has been fully approved for e-MTB use.
