The Mavic Aksium wheelset is the base model in the Mavic wheel range. They don't compromise when it comes to reliability and quality, though! Mavic intended to offer the proper ride quality and versatility customers have come to expect from Mavic wheelsets in the Aksium.
The wheels have straight pull spokes which are incredibly strong and rigid. The rims are wider, optimising your comfort and allowing you to run up to 32 mm wide tyres! The hubs are incredibly durable and require very little maintenance.

Good quality wheelset at a reasonable price

Took the advise from other reviews to complement these with Swissstop pads as cheap pads eat into the rims.
