Pirelli Cinturato Gravel RH TechWALL

The Cinturato Gravel RH tyre is specially developed for the fastest gravel races on mixed courses with both asphalt and hardpack surfaces. While the smooth centre strip of the tyre ensures maximum efficiency on compact terrain, the side studs provide extra grip on off-road sections, especially in corners. With a tread design that is more square than in the H and M models, this tyre is designed to minimise rolling resistance when going in a straight line without compromising grip when cornering – ideal for a more aggressive riding style.

The R (Racing) models are intended for riders seeking maximum precision and performance, even on demanding terrain. They incorporate technical solutions derived from Pirelli's experience in MTB XC racing and offer top performance for demanding gravel riders.

TechWALL carcass
The TechWALL Gravel casing uses elements of mountain bike and road casings to create a structure with a perfect balance between puncture resistance and suppleness. The purpose of the carcass is to prevent cuts in the tyre's sidewalls, and so a structure that is optimally resistant to such cuts is used all over the carcass, and extra rubber has been added in strategic places. Compared to the ProWALL casing, the TechWALL casing lacks an extra nylon layer on the sides, making the tyre a bit lighter but also a bit less puncture resistant.

SpeedGRIP compound
The SpeedGRIP compound is a gravel-specific rubber compound born from experience in the World Rally Championship, where tyre performance in both speed and on- and off-road grip is a top priority. The SpeedGRIP formula is based on the polymer composition of the MTB-specific SmartGRIP compound and also lowers rolling resistance. Optimising it for gravel riding requires a good balance between grip and speed. The result is a predictable compound with consistent on- and off-road performance.
