The Elitewheels Drive TT disc wheel is scientifically designed to give you the ultimate aerodynamic advantage in time trials and triathlons. Thanks to the sail effect, which is achieved by a closed rear wheel and processing the results of extensive wind tunnel testing, Elitewheels found that, under test conditions, a power of only 76 watts was needed to ride at 45 km/h.

The rim profile of the Drive TT is a big step forward - it has been designed using the 'sail effect' principle to generate forward thrust in and from crosswinds. The 22 mm inner rim width allows you to fit tyres from 25 to 40 mm, which not only enhances comfort on long distances but also lowers rolling resistance. Every detail has been optimised for aerodynamic efficiency, which has been validated in the wind tunnel at Silverstone.

The hub is made of high-quality 7075 aluminium and fitted with S&S ceramic bearings for minimal resistance. The 50T ratchet system used has a fast engagement angle of 7.2°, ensuring instant responsiveness. As part of the 'marginal gains' philosophy, a cover for the valve cut-out is included, providing an aerodynamic advantage.
