The Schwalbe Thunder Burt Addix Speed Super Race TLE is a very fast mountain bike tyre which is particularly suitable for fast and dry cross-country trails. The tread consists of low studs for optimal rolling resistance and high speed on the straights. With the higher studs on the sidewalls you can cut corners with great grip and confidence. This combination of studs, and the Addix Speed rubber compound as well as the Super Race carcass, make the Thunder Burt one of the fastest mountain bike tyres on the market.
The Addix Speed rubber compound can be recognised by the red stripe across the tyre. As this compound for cross-country racers has very low rolling resistance, it will make its rider fly over the trails. And taking this low rolling resistance into consideration, the Addix Speed is very robust and durable.
Super Race
The all-new Super Race carcass is all about one thing, and that's speed. This carcass is the ultimate competition construction for cross-country racers. It goes without saying that it offers unbeatable control and very low rolling resistance, and it also has a RaceGuard puncture protection layer under the tread to prevent punctures without adding weight or sacrificing agility. With its light and supple mix of materials the carcass absorbs shocks like the best of them. As a result, you will always have traction. In short, with the Super Race you know you're equipped to aim at new personal records!
Tubeless Easy
Schwalbe are firmly convinced that tubeless riding is the tyre technology of the future. And so they ensure that all mountain bike tyres bearing the TLE mark are optimized for riding without inner tubes. The construction of the carcass also makes the fitting process easier.
