The Magura MDR-C CL is a centerlock disc brake rotor made of a single piece of metal. As this rotor is super strong and dissipates heat very efficiently, it can handle the higher forces of e-bikes and enduro mountain bikes. As the connecting ring makes this brake disc very stiff and vibration-resistant, the MDR-C CL is a reliable rotor for all-round use; it performs equally well on both city and trail bikes!
Super stiff and vibration-resistant due to the one-piece design
This centerlock variant of the Magura MDR-C brake disc is as light and stiff as possible thanks to its one-piece steel design. The disc is mounted on a centerlock ring for an optimal balance of vibration damping and stiffness. As a result, it gives you high braking power at all times!
Optimised for e-bikes, also highly suitable for enduro
The Magura MDR-C CL centerlock brake disc for thru-axles is made to deliver extreme braking power even in the toughest conditions. The reinforced centerlock design of the MDR-C brake rotor is aimed at withstanding extreme forces. This makes this brake disc highly suitable for electric bikes and enduro mountain bikes.
• 1 Lock ring
• First, put the rotor in place in the correct rotation direction (see the arrow on the rotor).
• Then, tighten the lock ring to the correct Nm (newton metres).
For disc brake rotors, you have 2 different ways of mounting depending on the lock ring. One has an internal fit that you can tighten with a Cassette Removal Tool without a pin. If the inside of the key is open, it can reach far enough over the axle of the wheel. The other version is an external fit that you can tighten with a bottom bracket tool.
