Wow, best piece of clothing in cycling wardrobe !!

IMHO, best piece of clothing in my cycling wardrobe ! Showerproof and ready for 3.5 seasons, out of 4. Perhaps, extra- / mid- layering would cover me, during the winter period; yet to try that out... but a good base- / windstopping- layer would solve this issue. Sportful sizing is very similar, to Castelli !! I'm built like a rugby-player, so broad-shoulders with shorter arms... The additional-tail material is large enough to cover your butt. But this recent purchase, at sale-price, was worth every penny. Just wish the price was, a little cheaper... :)

Very versatile bit of cycling kit

This is a fantastic bit of cycling kit - a cross between a lightweight jacket and a long sleeve jersey - its made from panels of 2 different weight material, windstopper on the front, forearms and shoulders and the rest of the top is a very lightweight material that improves breathability - and the material is water resistant, good for showers but wont keep you dry in prolonged rainfall. There are no pockets, which is a shame, but there is a side zipped access for reaching pockets of cycling jersey which is likely to be worn underneath - I found the position of the zip a bit awkward, but it is easy to lift up the top to get access. The fit is great, nice long arms and back perfect for the riding position, and not skin tight so can wear with layers for different seasons. Surprisingly for Italian gear, I found the size guide to be spot on, and ordered XXL for my 188cm/90kg frame with 107cm chest. This is a highly versatile bit of kit, and with a great Mantel price and fast shipping, I would recommended that you buy it today.
