Don't buy.
Definitely not ideal for mtb for beach race.

Poor quality
Worn out quickly. Only driven about 2000km with it and the drive side already worn out.

You get what you pay for and these are cheap....
These were installed on a new frame due to supply issues with the BB I actually wanted. From day 1, they ran pretty stiff despite a good preload. OK, thought that would improve. I ride about 1200 km/month and use the bike in all weather conditions. After 500 km: creaking. BB shell measured: perfectly in spec, so that's not it. Reinstalled, applied grease. Everything ok for 100 km, then crackling again, albeit less than before. After 3000 km I replaced them. OK, the load with a 30 mm spindle is big, but still.... You get what you pay for....

Does the job it is asked to do
Does the job it's asked to do. However, given the size of the bearings, durability isn't great, but that's the concession you have to make to be able to fit a crankset with a 30mm axle on a bb86 frame.

defective after only 2 months
after 2 months the are already rotten. Cycled about 400km with them on the mtb. Not done anything crazy, no rips and no high-pressure cleaning. I called Mantel for warranty, but no warranty is given on bearings, so tough luck. So I opened up the bearing, which turned out to be rusty already! I really don't recommend these bearings! And too bad there is no guarantee/service from Mantel.

Easy fit and I'm sure it will last
