I wear them in spring and autumn on chilly morningrides. It just gives you a bit om warm feet. Also it looks great to be honest. For me, the only downside is that the heel of the cover slips over my shoes. It is not a big problem, but than you see a big part of my shoes (red) and that is just not nice to see.
