Insufficient wet grip
Replaced worn-out rear tyre (SpeedKing) with this cheaper ContactSpeed. Crashed on 1st ride in the wet. Far too little grip, this tyre is going off my bike. Better to spend a few extra tens for a better rubber compound with more grip, more safety and less damage to skin and clothing.

Great tyre until you need grip in the wet
In dry conditions, a fine tyre that rolls well but the grip is just fine. In the rain, however, it loses grip all at once without warning, causing me to skid across the tarmac into the verge at 30 km/h. I no longer have confidence with these tyres in the rain.

Good tyre
Nice tyre that feels fast but is still comfortable and gives enough grip.

nice tyres with plenty of grip.
Tyres that offer very good grip in current winter conditions. Great offer from Mantel and ordered in the evening, delivered the next morning. Perfect service.

Light running
Cycles very light and fast.

Very comfortable
Much more comfy than a standard road tyre but still fast rolling. I put these on my 2019 specialized diverge adventure bike and so far it’s been brilliant. Definitely worth considering if you are looking for more comfort

Optimum price/quality ratio.
The previous one has not even lasted 5,000km but with good grip and speed.

tasty band!
Took a bit of effort to get it on the rim, but it worked and it has been great to ride on ever since (95% road). Bit careful on gravel (bends) and wet asphalt, but no problems so far.

Fine band so far.
Still too short in use to comment on this.

Superb grip on the road and trusted off-road. Used on my Revolt 1.
Superb grip on dry road, super quiet, and great on rain too, as it dries super quickly. Off-road, as long as you are not going nuts, it will do the job; on grassy or muddy paths it gives you enough grip to feel confident, but you won't go over steep inclines if you stand on the pedals and place your weight off the back wheel - tested ;)

Fast all-rounder
Tyre does for me what it needs to do, cycle all year, commute with it. +/-9000km per year and can last exactly a year with this tyre. Gives me good grip even when it is slippery. Tyre also has little rolling resistance, feels fast even when cornering. I have tested quite a few sets of tyres but this is already my 3rd set.

Top band
Extremely good tyre that bolts very smoothly

Perfect all-round tyre for commuting.
Perfect tyre for commuting. Meanwhile due for 2nd set since 2019. Even in black ice and snow good grip, provided adjusted tyre pressure

Fantastic, reliable tyres
They don't "sit" on my road bike wheels, but these tyres are fitted to my BMC Alpen Challenge bike and they do heartily, as do I

nice band!!!
not easy to find light-running tyres for your day )BIOLOGICAL). sport bike. SO JUST PEDAL!!! MIn the shop one arrives with a bicycle tyre for an electric bike, which are stiffer,,,,, and Teun doesn't like that!!!

Goeie band, afhankelijk van gebruik
Zalige band om mee te rijden, ook wanneer het nat ligt. Al zou ik er persoonlijk niet mee over natte kasseien rijden.

Quick service, items arrived well packed. The tyres themselves are amazing. Hardly any rolling resistance and well made. My hybrid is now faster and smoother on the road.

From experience top quality tire brand.
Bought tires for the winter months, not mounted yet but from experience I know that Continental is excellent quality, as I also mount this brand for the summer months ( Continental Grand Prix 5000 25C )

Tough black strap, looks great on black Trek Dublin
Nice rolling tyre that gives great grip and control both wet and dry. Comfortable due to its size. And the thick anti-puncture layer gives confidence that a bit of glass or other sharp things won't immediately result in a flat tyre.

Great tyre for that price!
Great service and excellent tyre

Satisfied!
Around 500km driven, good grip on dry asphalt, a bit of wet roads, ok too. Haven't had a chance to test it on wet roads yet. I'm satisfied, the price is good and the tread is thick enough to prevent punctures. To be seen over time.
Pros & Cons

very good run
4 / 5
Good tyre but no reflector.
Fine tyre to fit, lifespan remains to be seen of course. In any case, it cycles fine! The tyre does not have a white reflector stripe on the sides. I hadn't paid attention when selecting it. I thought this is still compulsory?
Pros & Cons

Great tyre at a good price
Rides fine due to good grip and low rolling resistance.

Top tyre for fast cyclists, hybrid road bike or possibly gravelling
Great tyre with slick surface that features a fine pitted tread. Good tyre for the fast cyclist!
Pros & Cons

Excellent puncture resistance.
Fine tire with low rolling resistance and excellent puncture resistance.

Very nice tyre at a very good price
The tyre is easy to fit and has very low rolling resistance. Steers easier at higher speeds (25/35 km/h) than at lower speeds (10/15 km/h). I notice no difference in grip between wet and dry weather. Even when steering hard, the tyre remains stable. A very small downside (if you can call it that) is that the tyre is very sensitive to tyre pressure. As soon as the pressure drops (below 3 bar), the tyre starts 'searching'. But as long as I keep them between 4 and 5 bar, there is nothing wrong.

Great value for money
Fine tyres where I am mainly concerned with rolling resistance and puncture resistance, rolling resistance is already good

Good advice from Mantel employee
Tires as a replacement for Schwalbe. Clearly more speed with equal comfort and grip.
Pros & Cons

Smooth running, good grip and well-rounded
Tyres run light with 5 bar pressure. Grip is good and were delivered in large box, not folded and therefore are well rounded, no bumping.
