Optimised traction in wet weather conditions and excellent grip thanks to the rubber sole.
The ME502 have a fibreglass-reinforced nylon midsole for high cycling comfort.
The synthetic leather material makes these shoes very durable.
The shoes can be made to fit perfectly with the BOA dial mechanism.
No problems with the dial closure during trail rides because it has the L6 protective shield.
Precise adjustment of the closing mechanism by means of the rotary knob and two velcro straps.
The combination of carbon and nylon in the sole makes this shoe stiff yet comfortable enough for long rides.
Politex provides the upper with good resistance to tearing, impact and deformation.
The mesh material and perforations ensure good breathability.
The MTB Competition sole is reinforced with carbon for better power transfer.
The Tecno 3 closing system ensures perfect adjustment of this MTB shoe.
Thanks to the Sidi Heel Cup, the heel is better stabilised and supported.
Cons
The Velcro strap may eventually lose some of its efficiency when often splashed with dirt.
As the sole is of an average stiffness, power transfer is not optimal.
Supplied without optional spikes. These can be ordered separately.
The reinforced MTB Competition sole is not as stiff as a full carbon sole.
