According to the product specialist
Pros
Warm and dry feet with its warm foot bed lined with artificial fur. |
The large opening and loop at the back make it easy do put the shoes on. |
The reflective elements along the shoe ensures high visibility on dark winter days. |
Excellent fit due to the new X-Dial SLW3 fastening mechanism. |
The NRG Air Carbon sole offers both comfort and good power transfer. |
The AirFlow system provides an ideal airflow along the bottom of the shoe. |
Thanks to the Unibody construction, there are no pressure points on the foot. |
The ventilation holes across the shoe ensure good breathability. |
The synthetic leather with mesh structure creates a comfortable fit and breathability. |
This cycling shoe can be adjusted well with the 3 wear-resistant Velcro straps. |
The nylon sole is reinforced with fibreglass, which ensures better power transfer. |
The wear-resistant and wide heel pads provide more stability. |
The perforated and mesh design makes for a very breathable shoe. |
The carbon-reinforced nylon sole provides extra rigidity and thus better power transmission. |
The Atop locking makes for an excellent fit. |
Suitable for both SPD-SL and LOOK pedal systems. |
Cons
The sole is made of plastic reinforced nylon, which is not that stiff, leading to power loss while cycling. |
With a full carbon sole, the power transfer to the pedals is even better than with this sole. |
In order to use the shoe with SPD pedals, you will need a separate adapter. This does not come with the shoes as standard. |
In terms of shoe adjustment, Velcro straps are less effective than dial fasteners. |
Just one dial, two dials would be better to divide the pressure along the foot. |
