SRAM Rival XG-1250 12 Speed Cassette

The SRAM Rival XG-1250 cassette is a very smooth shifting cassette with a wide range, released for the Rival eTap groupset. This versatile cassette lends itself not only to road use, but is also suitable for gravel riders.

Smooth and quiet shifting with a very wide range
The Rival XG-1250 cassette has a nickel-chrome layer, which makes the chain better protected against rust. This also ensures better durability, so that the cassette has a longer lifespan overall. The X-Range sprocket layout ensures smooth shifting, so you can always easily shift up and down even under load.

Tools Needed?

• To install the cassette you will need a chain whip and a cassette remover. You can find these here.
• To cut the chain to length, you need a chain breaker. You can find these here.
• To close the missing link you need a Missing Link pliers. You can find these here.
• With a chain wear tool you can see when your chain is worn, so that you can replace it in time. You can find these gauges here.

X-Range design
X-Range ensures that you get a more efficient drivetrain by moving your shifting range from your crank to your cassette. SRAM has designed the cassette so that you have smaller but more consistent intervals between sprockets. This also makes it possible to get a wider range, up to 360%! (10-36t). All in all, this ensures that you can stay on the same chainring up front, so that you can shift up or down more smoothly.

Full-pin technology
The SRAM Rival cassettes are very lightweight and strong. This is because the cassette is held together by pins. Due to this FULL PIN™ technology, this cassette is also very durable, because sand and other dirt do not get stuck in the cassette!

This cassette can only be placed on an XDR body. So take note of whether your current rear wheel can accommodate an XDR body, or whether you have to purchase an new wheelset.
