The Schwalbe Road Cruiser is an environmentally conscious, durable tyre with an excellent price-performance ratio. The combination of the Green Compound, the K-Guard puncture protection belt and the simple yet effective tread make the Road Cruiser a decent city bike tyre for medium use. Green Compound
Thanks to a special manufacturing technique, it is possible to produce the Road Cruiser's tread rubber with renewable and recycled raw materials. This not only reduces the energy and raw materials required to make these tyres, but also ensures a rubber compound with a good combination of grip and durability.
K-Guard
An extra layer of natural rubber is added under the tread. This layer is reinforced with Kevlar, which makes it less easy for sharp objects to pierce completely through the tyre. This anti-puncture layer is ideal for the average cyclist.
