Reviews over the
SRAM GXP
4 / 5
Got acceptable quality for the amount paid.
Quality is not absolute top, but it can't be otherwise given the low price. I have now bought and fitted this type of bottom bracket for the third time. I ride about 15,000 km each time with this bottom bracket. After these miles, the bearings have worn out. Reason for buying this bottom bracket again and again is the good price/quality ratio.

Fine bearings
This is not my first GXP Team bottom bracket bearing set; hence I can already give the rating so soon after purchase ;-). These bearings, if fitted with propeller shaft(!) bearing grease, will last a year. Not bad for this price. I will try a stainless steel bearing set at some point; when they become available again after the COVID crisis....

Product satisfies and is easy to replace yourself
Quick and easy to replace yourself. Too bad I have to replace it again after 5,000 km. Got play on bottom bracket again.

Necessary
The bearing was just right thanks to the dialer. I had ordered the wrong bearing at first. Immediately ordered mounting paste.

Good value for money. Durability could be better.
Installed a new bottom bracket in my second-hand mountain bike. Replacing it was much easier than expected. The old bottom bracket turned out to be exactly this model, and needed replacing because it was making a grinding noise due to sand or other dirt. The 'caps' protecting the bearings from outside dirt had become loose on the previous bottom bracket and were also largely worn. In terms of sealing, the new ones don't seem to withstand mud, either, so my suspicion is that you can't avoid dirt getting to the bearings at some point. But I'm a good-weather cyclist, so maybe this won't be too bad for me.

Disappointing sustainability
With a little good BB I do at least 4000 km, with this one barely 1000 km

Good product
Tight, no play at all. Got through first 1000km excellently.

Easy to replace if you have the right tools
Assembly without any particular difficulty, with the English pitch reversed on the transmission side (crankset).

Great replacement
It was easy to assemble given the right tools. Clean everything well first and then grease. The end has a plate through which the teeth of the crank fit exactly. This was loose in the box with me, with some grease it sticks. Despite proper greasing and cleaning, it still creaks a bit when climbing.

Top service
Top, normally I needed the PF30 but with Sram adapter and these bearings it works smoother and better.

Degelijk product
In YouTube-filmpjes wordt hij als matig aangetekend, echter heeft hij bij mij 12 jaar trouwe dienst gedaan, op naar de volgende 12 ;-)

Feels like new again
Bottom bracket bought to replace the old one, in combination with Sram Omnium cranks. Some play had developed in the non-driveside. The cups have a slightly different silver-grey colour than the old ones. Easy installation, simply take out old ones, put in new ones (with mounting grease of course!) Note, spacers (rings) are included for use with wider frames, not needed on my track bike. It was hard to figure out when to use or not. Bearings feel fantastically smooth and no more play in the axle. Like new!

Fine bearings, SRAM is always just a bit better in my opinion anyway
Very convenient and smooth assembly with indication then "drive side" and "non drive side". Fine bearing for the amateur cyclist.

Ordered in the evening, repaired the very next morning, hardly any faster.
Everything runs like clockwork again, wonderfully smooth again , easy to assemble, luckily still had the right tool in the workbench.
