Prima banden

- Ger, 29 May, 2025

Monteren gaat relatief soepel. In ieder geval een stuk makkelijker dan de Schwalbe G one. Rijdt ook prima. Op nat wegdek voelt het ook vertrouwd.

Pros & Cons

Goed te monteren
Rijdt soepel

Top product

- Pieter- Jan, 25 November, 2024

For the first test with this Pirelli tyre, I went for the final cobbles of Paris Roubaix. The course was a perfect combination of asphalt, cobbles and some gravel. The profile of the tyre makes it run smoothly, but it also has plenty of grip on the gravel sections. Also due to lower pressure in the tyres (tubeless), the cobbles were easy to digest. In short, the perfect tyre for those who don't want to feel tied to a type of surface.

Pros & Cons

Fast
Good grip, good positioning
Smooth tubeless installation

Fast, but not reliable

- Chris, 21 July, 2023

I had already read stories that these tyres are somewhat prone to punctures. Still ordered the tyres, as they are "actually" the right tyres for the surface I often cycle on, and my upcoming cycling holiday in California. I had hoped the ones that went flat were just dumb luck, but alas they are not the best, and are now being replaced by the new Pirelli RC X (which are hopefully better). Very unfortunate. I hope Pirelli improves these tyres, because fast they are.

Pros & Cons

Easy and just with bicycle pump
Lots of grip
Very fast tyres
Frequent punctures.
