Cheap is expensive

- Tom, 30 December, 2025

I bought 2 pieces for loosening and tightening steering head nuts. I first used the 32mm jaw opening and there is so much play on this (the opening is too big) that I damaged the headstock nut. I then measured both spanners and they are on average about 0.5mm too big. So the factory tolerance is not anything to write home about. I returned the set.

Pros & Cons

Cheap
Feels thick and sturdy enough for the purpose
Chance of damaging the headset nut
Excessive tolerances on jaw opening

Works but not without scratches

- Fedor, 23 September, 2021

Coarse finish so unsuitable if you don't want to scratch the headstock. Coarse messy sharp edges. Can be filed off but at the expense of anti-rust coating.
