Good comfortable saddle at an attractive price
Saddle 160mm sits better (previous 150mm)just too narrow causing sore sit bones.

Great product and great seller
A saddle that doesn't hurt my buttocks, as its width matches the distance between my ischios and its recess. Solid, brand-name product. First experience with manual and certainly not the last, as I'm very satisfied with the product and its delivery, and with the customer service that guided me in my choice.

Fine saddle, does what it promises.
This saddle has replaced the standard saddle on my Cube Attain road bike. Now I can cycle without any distressing feeling, before I started to "sag" and even sit crookedly after about 30 to 40 km, now even after about 100 km ride I have no pain at all: Good product with a favorable price-quality ratio. I ordered the right size after determining the width of my seat bones on a piece of ribbed cardboard. The saddle is not too slippery in my opinion either. Just a nice saddle

Highly recommended
With my previous saddle I had problems with my 'thing' during the zwift sessions in the attic because of the long periods of sitting in the same position. After some research I opted for this saddle and so far I have no regrets. Even after medium-long rides it still feels normal down there :)

Comfortable but smooth saddle.
Great saddle for long rides. However the saddle is very slippery which makes you slide back and forth (too) easily.

Game Changer
The concept of Fizik of the bull, Chameleon and the snake I found very convincing. I'm something between bull and chameleon and am very happy with the saddle. Also my hip pain after cycling has disappeared. I ride the 160 variant with a 130 hip distance on a gravel bike.

Well-designed shape, but lacks comfort
Good saddle for hard riding, but very uncomfortable for touring.

Great saddle!
Bought this saddle because after fitting a time trial handlebar, I was experiencing pain in the crown jewels due to different posture. This saddle completely eliminated that pain. Further comfortable so highly recommended

It is very comfortable, it is what I was looking for, my bike has gained a lot aesthetically.

Posititeve ervaring
Tamelijk hard zadel, maar heel handig. Eventjes een korte gewendwording ten opzichte van mijn vorig zachtere zadel, maar het went rap.

Great value saddle.
An excellent, competitively-priced saddle. Apart from the minimal weight difference, this is better VFM than the R3, which I also ride.

Highly recommended
I used to use Shimano Pro Stealth for my main bike, But I decided to try a new saddle for my 2nd bike. This was delivered few days before my trip to Mallorca over the Christmas. And I decided to take this even without trying. I had it mounted on rented road bike and wow!!! it was so comfy from the day 1. Most saddles I tried beforerequired few days of breaking in, but this was an instant comfort. Even with rides over 100km on the second day, there was no discomfort whatsoever. Back from holiday, this is on my main bike now. Compared to Pro Stealth, this is better on longer distances. Pro Stealth is comfier with sitting on the nose. Overall, very happy.

Comfortable saddle at a reasonable price.
Haven't cycled much with it yet but now sit much better on my bike. Can sit longer without pain.

Super comfortable and pretty, my bike rides are much more pleasant since I've got this jewel!
Fast delivery, great price. The saddle is nice and easy to install. From the first ride, the difference with my previous saddle is incredible, no more crotch pain and my position is much more comfortable than before. I'm very happy with my purchase.

On my sporty e-bike it is very nice to have a good saddle, I regularly sit on the bike for hours at a time. Am very happy with my purchase.

Initially impressed
Looking for a saddle with a little more support (enduring problems with prostatitis/ chronic pelvic pain). Hopefully this will help.

Super saddle
I was fed up with my old saddle, which was too thin and hurt like hell. This one is shorter and wider, and takes a few sessions to get used to the shape. Once you've got the hang of it, it's great! No more walking like a cowboy for 3 days after every bike session!
Pros & Cons

Very good saddle
Takes 2 to 3 outings to get used to, then very comfortable.

Comfortabel zadel, goede cutout
Het zadel zit zeer comfortabel met de flexibele carbon onderkant. De cutout zit net goed. Zeer goed zadel voor de prijs.

Perfect saddle!
I have found the perfect saddle with the Tempo Argo R5. I admit that I was skeptical when unpacking the saddle whether the hard-feeling saddle is the right choice. But after the first ride, all doubts were blown away. I have never had so many pleasant and comfortable hours in the saddle. I am relatively narrow, but have chosen the wider saddle after a review and absolutely the right choice, because I have so the optimal support during pedaling movements.
Pros & Cons

Very good value for money
At last, a saddle adapted to my morphology at a rather modest price. It's the "low-cost" little sister of the r1 and r3, sufficient for my riding. Given the weight of my bike (triban rc120), I don't need an ultra-light saddle like the r1 and r3. I still need to fine-tune the adjustment to adapt perfectly to the new supports.

brilliant endurance saddle- lightweight comfy what more do you want?

Uber comfortable with no pressure
Having tried literally tried 20 different saddles ranging in price from inexpensive to stupidly expensive 3D printed saddles, this is the first saddle I’ve used that really does relieve pressure - even when used on long endurance rides with loads climbing to hours on the turbo. Great saddle, great price and if you suffer from pressure from your saddle, try this one.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
innovative concept, worth testing!
Requires a period of adaptation. All the weight is taken by the pins. You have to alternate back and forth to find your preferred position. I think a smaller width might suit me better.

good saddle for a reasonable price
saddle has a large opening in the middle so no pressure can be felt there. Do measure the distance between the seat bones. Mine turned out to be 15 cm. After two rides I got used to the wider saddle.

Finally, the perfect saddle for me.
I was looking for a comfortable saddle for my road bike, which I have now found, one of the rare saddles that is 160 mm wide with a very pronounced recess. I ordered the saddle from Mantel because they offer to return it even if it's already been fitted, which is really a big plus... In the end I kept it and I'm really very, very happy with it.

Good but too wide
For women: the saddle removes all pain thanks to the hole in the middle of the saddle BUT causes pain on the back of the thighs because the edges of the back of the saddle are too wide ......

Well-shaped, comfortable and stylish saddle
My old saddle was too narrow so I took a chance on this and was immediately surprised how comfortable it is. Can cycle long distances without problems!

Perfect perch!
I've only been riding on if for about a month, but it's made a big difference to my rides. Mostly off road, forest trails with roots and mixed terrain on a fairly unforgiving steel cyclocross bike, this has smoothed out the ride and I barely notice it's there...which I guess is the testimony to its comfort. Gets my vote.

This saddle finally gives me a comfortable time on the bike
I’ve tried many many saddles over the years to find one that was comfortable for long cycles. However none of them suited me and the constant numbness and pain I experienced pushed me to the edge of giving up cycling for good. Then my new bike fitter suggested I try this saddle as the wide cut out and short nose might solve my issues. So I borrowed a test saddle from him and after just one 40km cycle, I knew I had to buy one as I didn’t even notice the saddle on that one cycle. So I searched online and Mantel were the cheapest by far. Ordered it and delivered to Ireland in three days. It’s been in my bike for over a dozen cycles now and I’m loving it. No more sore ass or “man bits”. Brilliant saddle and worth every cent!

Good, but hard saddle
I was looking for a sporty saddle for my bike. Found it, but really got used to it, because the saddle is very hard.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Very good!
Initial impressions are very good, not used yet on rides over 2 hours, but I like it very much. Hard (in a good way) and very suportive, I'm enjoying its shape very much. This model will go to my gravel bike and I already have plans to order the R3 model for my road bike.

No more trouble!
With this saddle, no trouble with my crown jewels.

Very light and very comfortable saddle
The Fizik Tempo Argo R5 is available in two versions. With a width of 150 mm or with a width of 160 mm. The acquired variant with a width of 160 mm is ideal for use on a gravel bike. The saddle is equally light and comfortable. Whether on the road or off-road, uphill or downhill. One always finds the right seating position.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Comfortable saddle with a generous amount of padding and a great price from Mantel.
I boughr this saddle to replace my racing oriented saddle that came with my new canyon ultimate, what a huge difference to endurance rides. Its extremely comfortable on longer rides and it's very well constructed. Amazing experience ordering from mantel as usual, ordered on Tuesday and arrived on Friday to Ireland. Also best price on the Web. Will be ordering from mantel for ever!!

Hard but comfortable.
The seat seems a bit hard at the beginning, but that gives after the first few kilometers. The seat is definitely suitable for longer tours.

Good, unfortunately not so well suited for my ergonomics.
Actually nice saddle, a little heavy. For my ergonomics unfortunately not so good fit.

Excellent for seat bone width of ~130mm
First I measured the width of my sit bones myself by moistening a piece of kitchen paper with a plant spray, then put it on a low table/stool and put a blank A4 over it. Then sit down with your knees raised, when you get off you will see the imprints of your sit bones in the A4. Then mark the center of these spots and measure the distance. The width of the correct saddle should be 2.5cm wider than the width of your sit bones. With this I found out that I was riding on a saddle that was too narrow and this Fizik fits perfectly and you do notice the difference while cycling. Pressure is now no longer absorbed on the soft tissue, but simply on your sit bones (where you can take it ;)

Top quality
Finally no more trouble.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Great, soft saddle that provides a comfortable fit on the road bike.
The saddle is super for short/ but also for long distances. The extremely soft padding of the saddle at the level of the buttocks makes for a comfortable seat. The shortness towards the front is optimal for different streamlined positions. The cut-out means that there is no pressure on sensitive tissue and no friction.

To recommend
So far no problems with the saddle, bought for the Smarttrainer. 2.5 hrs rides no problem. Tightly padded but is comfortable to ride and you sit defined.

Lots of seat enjoyment at a great price!
Almost longer stretches on the bike a pleasant seat!
Pros & Cons

Nice saddle but too hard for me.
I was looking for a saddle to allow longer pain-free cycling in the sensitive areas but this saddle again gave more problems with my rather sharp sit bones....
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Excellent saddle
Of course, a saddle remains very personal. I come from an Aliante and experience considerably more comfort with the tempo argo. This is mainly due to the "dead" feeling that is much less with this saddle. It is still a bit of a search for the right position, it is a very different saddle.
Pros & Cons
3 / 5
Good, but not for me
A fine saddle, especially with the large cutout, which I really like. The saddle is short and slopes slightly, which makes it suitable for sitting in the stirrups. However, I also found it quite hard and wide sloping and it gave me trouble with my sit bones. Not quite for me.
Pros & Cons

A real saddle for relief prostate.
Saddle as described
Pros & Cons

Fits like Ar... on bucket!
The Fizik fits perfectly in the 160mm to my rear end and provides great halt in all directions. The recess relieves perfectly all sensitive parts. In the version R5 a good price-performance ratio.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Great saddle as recommended by the fizik website and Mantel's tool.
I have previously suffered from numbness on anything more than short rides. However, having finally measured my sit bone width and gone to a wider saddle, no more numbness. Great investment.

Great
Seats well, not too hard or too soft. Stands tight on the bike and installation went smoothly.

Perfect saddle at a great price
Already ridden several longer trips on it without problems. Sore feeling in seat area of previous saddle has completely disappeared
Pros & Cons

Fine cutout but sensitive for seat bones
With the decision aid a number of saddles remained and since this saddle has the most reviews I chose this saddle. Because of the recess I immediately had no more dead feeling. Only the sit bones did hurt a lot after the first lap. After cycling a total of 400km I still couldn't get used to it and with Mantel's convenient 30-day trial, the saddle could be returned.
Pros & Cons

Am very excited!
Have driven over 4h at a stretch without pressure point. Then 10 minutes break and drove another 3h. I have otherwise not even close to other brands. And I've already tested many saddles, some others are a bit better from the processing, but this one is unbeatable from the fit and comfort for me. Am very happy with it :o)
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Glad I gave it a try!
After reading reviews I opted for this as was struggling to find the ideal perch. I have tried believe it or not 7 saddles, fussy customer I know. I had stuck with a Prologo Nago Evo for a year but was never completely satisfied despite measuring sit bones etc for previous saddles. HOWEVER I remeasured at home and Mantel gives suitable widths for sit bones next to the size not just stating S,M,L (nice touch) as other sites don't. I recommend the saddle though nice supported padding without being soft but still breaking it in with only 20+miles under my belt.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
comfortable, compact saddle
Victim of several pelvic fractures, I was looking for a saddle that would relieve me because my pelvis had suffered a lot of damage, faithful to fizik I chose this saddle which has a large opening and very pleasantly surprised by this opening which proves to be very pleasant after 2 outings because it takes a little time to adapt if you have always ridden on a traditional saddle, just be careful with the mounting because given the shape of the saddle the level is on the front of the saddle and not on the whole saddle, many tutorials are available.

Excellent product
A perfect replacement for the uncomfortable original saddle.

only driven about 200km, so far it feels good! must drive the saddle longer !
ok so far!

Seems comfortable, but hard edges throw a spanner in the works
I'm sure the saddle will be fine, but not for me. My sit bones are 124mm apart. These became sore after 20km. So despite the large recess and lots of padding, I found the saddle uncomfortable. Mantel's 30-day service is therefore really great. I can now try another saddle.
Pros & Cons

Great value for money!
I find this saddle very comfortable and aesthetically pleasing, and as I place little importance on weight, it's perfect for me.

Perfect saddle for me
After a measurement for the sit bones the salesman advised me to take this saddle! Finally I could sit comfortably on my bike if only I had done this earlier. Also for a nice price at Mantel!
Pros & Cons

just fine
With racing saddle I got saddle pain after 60-70km. So I switched to endurance saddle. The delivery was fast and the big advantage is the 30-day return guarantee. This allows you to test a saddle long enough. At this product and conditions approved.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Top saddle because of its length and recess, however, too hard for the sit bones
Top saddle because of the length and cutout: vthe saddle is short which allows you to maintain more flexibility and apply more power. However, I found it too hard on my sit bones. I think this is due to the fact that I am rather squeamish in that area and for others it may not be a problem at all. In case you only do 1 ride a week, I'm sure it doesn't pose a problem. The recess further ensures that you do not get saddle pain in the wrong places, this made cycling pleasant again for me.
Pros & Cons

Triathlon saddle ideal for long distance aero racing
After 3 rides (between 30 and 100 km), I think I've found the saddle that suits me best: following the installation of extenders, my old saddle caused me pain in the perineum; with this one, I don't have to worry about racking up the miles in the aero position!

Super-comfortable saddle
Very well-made saddle, certainly rather firm, but the only pressure is on the ischials. No more perineal problems. Revolutionized my Zwift practice, where you're always sitting on the bike. And Mantel? My first order on the site, and I'm completely satisfied. Competitive prices and quick, easy delivery.
