This reliable Aksium road bike wheel has a wider rim for wider tyres so you can ride carefree and comfortably.
The wide 21 mm aluminium rim can accommodate wider tyres for more comfort and control while cycling.
The ID360 rear hub can be dismantled and serviced without the need for tools.
QRM auto bearing preload technology ensures that the bearings are always correctly preloaded, enabling them to run smoothly for a long time.
The DT Swiss A1800 Spline 30 is a lower-end aero choice from DT Swiss. Reliable and durable, it is perfect as a replacement wheel set.
30 stands for the rim height. 30 mm high gives a slight improvement in aerodynamics and stiffness thanks to the shorter spokes.
Thanks to the internal nipples and aero spokes, fewer air vortices are created in the wheel and you have lower drag.
With the Pro Lock nipple system, your wheels maintain much better spoke tension for longer.
The DT Swiss 370 hubs with ratchet body are easy to maintain and the rear wheel has fast engagement torque.
The RS370 wheels are very strong.
Due to the construction of the set and the possibility to mount wide tyres, this wheel set is very comfortable.
It is possible to convert this wheelset into tubeless tyres.
The Racing 600 wheels are very strong and durable.
The wheelset is suitable for tyre widths as from 25 mm, so fitting wide tyres for a comfortable ride is no problem.
Thanks to the 2-Way Fit system, the wheels can be used both with and without inner tubes.
Cons
Weighing 1980 grams, this wheelset isn’t the lightest but it is very reliable.
Internal spoke nipples can be a little trickier to align if the wheels are made tubeless. But the wheels are perfectly pre-tensioned and therefore won't happen easily.
If 28mm wide tyres don't fit in your bike, you shouldn't use this wheelset.
The wheelset is not the lightest set in its category.
The weight of 1780 grams is respectable for its class but there are lighter wheelsets.
