The seams of the Castelli Endurance 3 bibshort are placed around the hips to ensure a perfect fit. The bibshort is slightly curved before you put it on, which pulls you forward like when you sit on your bike. This minimises fabric wrinkles and prevents irritation points. In addition, the Endurance Evolution fabric, which the trousers are made of, feels nice and soft and gives you compression to support the leg muscles. This support will help to reduce muscle fatigue.
Progetto X2 Air chamois
The Castelli Progetto X2 Air pad is the ideal pad when you're doing long rides on your bike. This pad is designed to protect your skin and has the right thickness to protect you regardless of how long time you're spending in the saddle. The top layer is made of microfibre that can stretch in 4 directions and has no seams to create minimal friction while cycling. The foam used has been perforated by Castelli to make it breathable. The chamois has two different sections to give you more support where you need it.
Stays in place with straps and Giro3 grippers.
To make sure the shorts stay in place, they have straps. The mesh fabric prevents you from overheating in summer. You will also find the Giro3 grippers at the bottom of the trouser legs, these prevent the trouser legs from creeping up.

Very fine trousers
Nice trousers for long rides First ordered a size that listed my jeans size but it was too roomy at the bottom so then ordered via the Castelli size chart and they are fine. I am 1.78 and 75kg so I should have an M

Very nice mountain bike/cycling trousers!
Ordered a second one right away. No problems (anymore) while cycling (longer) mountain bike rides. Is a bit tight but somewhere I like that in terms of support. If in doubt, I would order one size bigger.

Abnormally good bib shorts
I weigh 90kg and am 1m85. I took an XL, these are very tight the first time you put them on (panic!),also not made for walking but for sitting on a bike. I rode 1500km in 10 days with 3 of these trousers, and never had any pain or chafing. In the 20 years I've been riding bikes, I've already tested out every brand in different price ranges, and I've never had trousers as good as these. They fit really well at the bottom, and the chamois is shorter in the front than I'm used to, but the construction of the trousers just works. TOP!

Good trousers at a reasonable price
Purchased these trousers because I bought one with the same chamois at Mantel 2 years ago. Only disadvantage for me is that the legs slide up more quickly. I have long thighs, therefore less comfortable for me.

Opzich fine trousers but.....
Great trousers, fabric is slightly thicker than other entry-level Castelli trousers I have and offers pleasant support. Wide elastic pieces keep the legs well in place. Trousers do fall small, normally I am a size M, with Castelli L but these trousers even had to be XL. For reference, I am 1.88m and 86kg, I can fit M just over my knees, L is uncomfortably tight and XL just comfortably tight. The chamois is a lot thicker than the Kiss Air, which is fine but it takes a lot of getting used to. There also seems to be an edge between the middle part and the surrounding part (outside the black border) which sometimes irritates me.
