Reduced stack height
The Wahoo Speedplay Cleats are aerodynamically designed, and thus cut smoothly through the air to reduce air resistance to a minimum. Thanks to the integrated clipless mechanism, the stack (height from the pedal to the bottom of your shoe) is reduced to a minimum of 11.5 millimeters.
The design of the Speedplay Cleats also ensures that you can walk as comfortably as possible on your cycling shoes. Thanks to the low profile and rubbery texture of these cleats you have more grip and stability, which in turn provides more comfort when you are not on the bike.
Ultimate adjustment possibilities
The Wahoo Speedplay Cleats offer up to 14mm fore and aft adjustability (forward or aft); up to 8mm lateral adjustability; of 1-15° of play and an adjustable click-out angle between 0° and 7.5°. This makes these cleats incredibly versatile and ensures that you can adjust your sitting position to the nearest millimeter!
Available in two types
The Speedplay Cleats are available in two types, namely standard-tension (black) and easy-tension (grey). With the standard-tension you are locked in the pedal more tightly than with the easy-tension cleats. So if you are a novice cyclist or if you can't generate a lot of less lateral force from your legs, we recommend the easy-tension cleats.
The Wahoo Speedplay Cleats are cleats with an integrated clipless mechanism. This allows the Speedplay pedals to be made double-sided and very compact. Despite the fact that there is an integrated clipless mechanism, the cleats remain easy to walk with, and you have a reduced height (stack). This means you don't have to worry about your pedals when you lean in a turn!

Even better than the normal speedplays
Switched from the normal speedplays to the 'light' click in and out version. Stayed with speedplay for its advantages: - moving the foot (left/right) while being clicked in. This reduces foot fatigue and is better for my knees - walking on the cleats themselves due to the rubber underside - the light weight of the whole setup (pedals and cleats By now, my normal version had run out and it was time for new ones. I opted for the 'light' / easy version due to knee rehabilitation. I like these even better than the original ones: - really very easy to click in and out - no loss of strength/ sticking while clicked in (they do not come off) - slightly nicer due to the neutral grey colour instead of yellow

Speedplay is a pedal for everyone because it is available in several price levels. i.e. to choose from steel, titanium and premium carbon fibre materials, furthermore the Speedplay is the only road pedal that is double sided which is only used on mtb bikes. After 40 years of road cycling experience, I can highly recommend the Speedplay pedal system, in my opinion they are the best on the market.
