Very useful remote control

I thought all DI2 connectors were identical. But no, this one is specific (small pin and larger external diameter). (See photo) I tried to connect it anyway (by removing the plastic that was sticking out) on my ST-R8070 and it didn't work. Too bad for me, I can no longer return the item. Shimano's general approach of making mechanical and electronic compatibility more complex is very annoying and, above all, very expensive.
