Description
Description
The Muc-Off Grease assembly paste improves the sealing and the functioning of rotating parts. Bio Grease has the additional advantage of being biologically degradable and is water resistant, which helps to prevent corrosion, reduces friction and improves the functioning of rotating parts. Muc-Off Bio Grease uses a unique formula which prevents corrosion and the ingress of moisture, so that your bike parts will last longer!
Environmentally conscious choice!
The Bio Grease also has the added advantage of being completely biodegradable. It's also free from petroleum-based oils!
Note: the bottle itself is not biodegradable, but it is recycled.
Assembly paste is not transparent as it contains small ceramic particles. This keeps screws tight while still being able to eventually loosen it. Carbon paste is for carbon, which is more vulnerable to over-tightening. The carbon paste ensures that your parts remain securely fastened, even with low tightening torques. There is also grease that is specifically intended for rotating parts and sealing against water and dirt. You can also use this to mount your parts, but it does not provide extra grip like the assembly paste and carbon paste.
How do I use assembly grease?
Assembly grease is applied to the component to be assembled and to the threads of bolts. You can apply it with a brush, straight from the tube or with your fingers. Basically, you use grease on all threaded bolts and the following parts are also important to apply assembly grease: saddle, stem, pedals, drive shaft. You use the assembly grease when you have loosened a component. It is also advisable to loosen the parts to be checked once in a while, clean them and apply new assembly grease.

Buy this one. Or emigrate and go pollute another planet, also good.

It is indeed Barbie-pink and it smells like bubblegum but if you shave your legs anyway, you can't complain about that, I think. It just works well and is less environmentally damaging, which seems much more important to me.
