Comfortable braking, no shortage of braking power
The Magura MT Trail Sport is equipped with the increasingly successful 4 / 2 piston combination. Ergonomic comfort has also been considered. The Magura has a 1-finger HC aluminum brake lever that is now also suitable for riders with smaller hands. The modified geometry allows you to use these brake levers closer to the handlebars, providing more control and comfort on long descents.
With this brake lever you have sufficient control
The braking power you need can be applied easily and precisely, even on journeys that require a lot of braking. The use of Carbotecture® technology in the brake lever keeps weight low and ensures high braking performance.
The Magura MT Trail Sport comes with MagnetiXchange technology. A magnet is used in the caliper, which 'pulls' the brake pads directly to the correct position. This makes replacing brake pads very easy!
1-finger braking system
The ergonomically designed 1-finger brake lever of the Magura MT Trail Sport brakes feels comfortable and powerful. The beautiful design allows you to use the maximum braking power with one finger, so that you can maintain more control!
If you switch to a different brand of disc brakes or want to mount a different size brake discs, you will need a different adapter between frame and brake caliper. You can find these adapters here.

Pros & Cons

Perfect for slightly outsized people, excellent value for money. All good things.
Mounted on an XC-oriented mountain bike, but I needed more power and precision. The rider is a bit heavy (1m98 for 110kg). Coupled with 180mm rear and 203mm front, it brakes really hard while maintaining good control. The mix is perfect. Excellent value for money. I expected nothing less from this great brand. They've proved themselves.
Pros & Cons

Good brakes
Mounted on a Mondraker Dune with new Magura discs: 203mm front and 180mm rear. New Magura pads. I followed the Magura break-in instructions and the result was excellent. It's the first time I've used single finger levers and I got used to it without any problems, the feel is very good. The progressivity is good: it brakes but doesn't lock, if you want to lock you press harder.

Rempower, really a super braking set
Pros & Cons

Great set of brakes for the price.
Fine brakes that don't surprise you. Safe brakes for many. From me they could be a bit more biting but that's personal. The 4-piston caliper is good to have at the front in terms of braking power. Nice set for the price.
