Pros & Cons
- Very good-looking tyre with reasonable puncture protection.
- These tyres offer a lot of grip on wet surfaces.
- Thanks to Challenge's open tubular design, this tyre has the suppleness of a tubular, but the ease of use of a clincher.
- Due to its supple casing and rubber, the Challenge Strada Pro scores slightly lower in terms of durability.

Made of supple rubber and a comfortable casing for maximum performance
Challenge's Strada is known for its flexibility. Supple rubber ensures better performance on the bike. It provides more grip, more comfort and, above all, lower rolling resistance. Tyre suppleness is measured in TPI. The higher the TPI (Threads Per Inch), the thinner each thread is and the more supple the tyre is. A tyre with a lower TPI is thicker and therefore more durable.
Open tubular design
The Challenge Strada is basically a clincher but Challenge itself calls it an open tubular. The bottom line is that the tyre is suitable for clincher wheels but its manufacturing process and suppleness are similar to a tube. Like Challenge's tubes, the open tubulars are also made by hand.

Nice tyre for a, now, nice price.
Nice tyres to look at, seems to be n quality tyre, but the future may determine that...hopefully I can ride many kilometres with them, they look like the old vitoria corsa tyres, also made in Thailand at the time, but hope these last longer. Fitting is tricky, but after inflating and deflating again, they go on and off the rim much easier. Had hoped they would be lighter than 240gr though, especially as they are slightly narrower.... But they ride very comfortably and make any bike more beautiful...then we want black again, then colour again and in the end almost everyone likes the old skinwall best...people, strange creatures.

Good, but need better mounting.
Runs well, but a drama with assembly, you really need patience and strength for that.

Excellent product
This tyre Strada Challenger has performed very well on my local roads would recommend it to other road racers.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
A really classy tyre made by a company that really understands what a tyre should be.
I love Challenge tyres, these clinchers and the tubeless versions are just fantastic. Vittooria Corsa tyres were at one time like these, but these are so much more durable and simply ride great, low rolling resistance (by feel admittedly), and confidence inspiring, I would take these off road without fearing the tyre being destroyed.

Reliable all-weather tire with super performance.
I've been using it in competition for several years. Its design and performance make it a borderline tubular tire.
