Pros & Cons
Pros & Cons
- Developed especially for gravel riding, with a large diameter and close fit for the bearings to keep out dirt, sand and moisture.
- Ultra Torque technology for excellent stiffness and power transfer.
- The system runs smoothly with the Campagnolo Ekar crankset and Campagnolo Ekar bottom bracket bearing cups.
- Due to the specific fit these bearings cannot be replaced by a different Campagnolo Ultra Torque fit.

Very satisfactory service - Parts in conformity
EKAR bearings to be checked / changed every year or 5000km. Using the Campa CBP-8 extractor

broken very quickly, Campa unworthy
This is my first bike with Ekar, and after 20 months of cycling I am already on my 3rd set of bottom bracket bearings. I am in my late 40s and thin, so not a power beast. The bearings jam in no time, despite regular maintenance. Second set is already seizing after 8 months. Since it is a wear part you can't even claim warranty. Am really disappointed in the quality of this part. And because it is a special construction, there is no alternative. Really bad
