Pros & Cons
Pros & Cons
- The second generation Graphene compounds brings even better performances than the first generation compounds.
- The use of 4 different compounds creates a perfect balance between rolling resistance, traction, braking performance, durability and puncture resistance.
- The highly flexible cotton carcass provides an optimal contact surface with the road, resulting in a very high degree of grip.
- This tyre gives your bike a classy look!
- These tyres have lower rolling resistance, improved grip and better puncture resistance compared to its predecessor.
- This tyre is less suitable for wet conditions because gravel may stick to the surface and cause a puncture.

Technology
Four different compounds in one tyre! The Vittoria Corsa G2 consists of 4 different compounds. The use of 4 different compounds creates a perfect balance between rolling resistance, traction, braking performance, durability and puncture resistance. The right compound is applied at the right place in the tyre. For example, the Corsa G2 casing has a harder compound at the centre of the tread for low rolling resistance, and a softer compound on the flanks for a very high grip in bends. To date, Vittoria is the only road bike tyre manufacturer to use 4 different compounds in one tyre.
A flexible carcass of professional quality
The carcass of the Corsa G2 made of cotton. The high degree of flexibility of the carcass ensures an optimal contact surface with the road surface. The improved contact surface provides less rolling resistance and a high level of traction on the (wet) road surface. Vittoria's tyres are immensely popular in the professional peloton. You can see the tyres in the Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, Vuelta, the classics and various championships. It isn't for nothing that many pro riders choose for the quality of Vittoria.
For some years now, Vittoria has been making extensive use of the wonderful material of graphene in the production of its tyres. In 2019, Vittoria introduces the second generation compounds: the Graphene 2.0 compound. In the graphene 2.0 compounds, Vittoria uses 'functionalised graphene'. This means that graphene is processed in different quantities in the compound. The amount of graphene in the compound can vary between 1 and 10 percent. This allows the rubber composition to be adapted to the circumstances. In this way, Vittoria is able to take the tyre's performance in terms of speed, wet grip, durability and puncture resistance to a higher level.
Weight:
• 23-622, 700 x 23c: 245 grams
• 25-622, 700 x 25c: 255 grams
• 28-622, 700 x 28c: 270 grams
The weight listed above is weighed by the manufacturer and may differ from the actual weight if you weigh the tyre yourself at home. This deviation is usually small and is due to the production process.
Materials:
• Tyre Type: Folding Tyre
• Carcass: Cotton K 320 TPI
• Compound: 4C Graphene 2.0
Compatibility
Carbon RimsThese Vittoria Corsa Graphene 2 Road Bike tyres are suitable for carbon rims, but we do recommend that you check your rims before fitting the tyre. The edge of the rim may be too sharp on some carbon wheels. This rim edge is usually rounded off during the production process, but in some cases this is not done, resulting in the sharp edge cutting through the cotton casing of this tyre.

extremely tight but stylish
These hoses are insanely tight. Recommend a lot of soap and blow dry a lot beforehand.

Fast all-rounder
Made a trip to the Vittoria NEXT, but after 1,700km the canvas came through there. Quickly returned to the classic Corsa, which always and in all conditions delivers grip, lasts reasonably long for such a tyre (longer than the GP5000 and the Schwalbe One), rolls nicely smoothly and is good puncture resistance for this type of tyre. Front tyre lasted 7,500km and rear 3,000km. All in all, a fine all-rounder delivered quickly by Mantel. (For people who have trouble fitting this tyre, make sure both beads are (stay) well in the middle of your rim during fitting, then you'll pop the tyre on in no time!).

I will not buy them again, had heard good stories about them but these do not apply to me....
After the first km I already had the feeling this is not going to be it, compared to the schwalbe pro one the steering is heavy, the rolling resistance is much more and in combination with my 80mm carbon wheels they make a lot of noise, I constantly had the feeling that a car was coming up behind them, on top of that they do search a lot, even just on flat and smooth asphalt. I have now changed them for the schwalbe pro one after 100 km.
