Pros & Cons

Pros & Cons

  • The WTB Resolute loses little grip thanks to the half-height studs and open structure, which prevents the tyre from getting clogged with mud.
  • Classic skinwall look that brings great looks to any gravel bike.
  • Thanks to the connected studs on the tread, this tyre does not compromise on rolling resistance
  • The studded profile makes more noise on the asphalt than a profile with a smooth tread.

Description

Description

The WTB Resolute TCS Light Fast Rolling tyre is for the commited cyclist who pedals hard all year round and under all conditions. According to WTB, this is a tyre that can handle anything! The low stud density profile gives it good traction, low rolling resistance and makes short work of all kinds of dirt. Whatever the weather, this band will pull you through effortlessly.

Technology

TCS
TCS (Tubeless Compatible System) is a technology from WTB designed to ensure the optimal tubeless experience and compatibility with rims according to the ETRTO size. Thanks to the bead made of aramid, this technology, in combination with WTB compounds, not only improves rolling resistance and grip, but also reduces weight compared to the competition.

Light Fast Rolling
The Light Fast Rolling is WTB's name for the tyre's compound. With a TPI of 60, the lightweight sidewall and the Dual DNA Rubber consisting of a combination of the hardest two compounds, the Light Fast Rolling is everything the name says: Light and fast!

Weight:
• 42-584: 440 grams
• 42-622: 460 grams
The weight we mention is weighed by the manufacturer and may differ from the actual weight when you weigh the tyre yourself at home. This deviation is usually small and is due to the production process.

Is this one worthy of the tubeless label?

- Harold 9 October 2023

I fitted these and rode 50km 1 time, they were discharging before the ride, but very slowly. Now 1 day after the ride, I see sealent leaking along the sides. Wondering if this will still stop itself.

Pros & Cons

First impression: versatile all-rounder

- Luc 7 February 2022

First trip on track, gravel, single track gives the tyre a very solid, confident impression. Only need 1 tyre for many terrains! Fitting was fine especially if the rims are lapped a bit beforehand! Tyres slap once inflated and grip the rim well. Colour suits my steel "old fashion" steed just fine. Use inner tube so no problems with loosening tension as reported with Tubeless...
