With Shimano's system, you refill oil at the bottom, near the caliper, while the bike is positioned so that the caliper is the highest point. This naturally allows air bubbles to rise up through the system and escape.
Please note: This caliper comes without brake line.
• Remove the protective rubber and cap from the Di2 lever and place a container for the oil.
• Remove the brake pads and place a spacer between the pistons to prevent movement.
• Attach a syringe filled with mineral oil to the caliper and let the oil flow through the system, pushing the air bubbles upwards, into the collection tray.
• When no more air bubbles appear, close the system and remove the syringe.
