They are built around a reliable DT Swiss 370 hub with an easy to maintain 3-pawl system. The spokes feature Pro Lock spoke nipples, which sit very securely and do not cause tension loss. The DT Swiss P 1800 Spline 23 wheels are tubeless ready and come with rim tape and tubeless valves.

Tubeless ready
The DT Swiss E1800 Spline 23 DB wheels have tubeless-ready rims to allow you to ride with tubeless tyres and latex. This set-up minimises the chance of getting a flat tyre. Should a puncture occur, the latex seals the hole within seconds. Other advantages of riding tubeless include lower rolling resistance, more comfort and better grip. Of course, it is also possible to fit your good old folding tyres with inner tubes.

Pro Lock technology
Pro Lock is a process where a patented dual-compound adhesive liquid is injected into the nipple thread, allowing for extremely durable wheel builds. When the nipple is threaded onto the spoke the adhesive is activated and begins to harden. Re-truing the wheel is still possible after the adhesive has hardened completely, with only a minimal decrease of its thread-lock function. Thus, the wheels retain much better spoke tension for a long time. This improves wheel durability and proper spoke tension up to 20 times compared to wheels with no Pro Lock nipples.
