The BBB Cycling Discstop HP BBS-38 brake pads are suited for mountain bikes and road bikes with disc brakes types from Sram, HyderoR, RED, Force1, CX1, Force, Rival1 and Rival 22.

Organic brake pads consists of soft materials. This allows these brake pads exceptional dosage and application of brake force. Due to the soft compound, this pad will brake very responsively. The organic compound also ensures these brake pads don’t make much noise while cycling.
The downside of organic brake pads is they’re less resistant to high temperatures that can be caused by long descents. On top of that, organic brake pads will deteriorate faster from muddy terrain.
In summary, if you mostly use your bike during summer and on flat stretches, organic brake pads are perfect for you. However, if you’re more of a winter cyclist, or do you cycle in hilly or mountainous areas, Semi-Metallic brake pads are a better choice.
