Shimano RC502

Bought for a change of shoe, very satisfied, fits true to size! The foot doesn't move around in the shoe, even if it's not tightened to the maximum. Used for the moment in cold weather, because of the ventilation your feet get cold very quickly, so below 16 degrees you need a boot cover! They feel very stiff and comfortable. There are little markings to help you adjust the wedges! The knurled adjustment works well but can only be tightened; loosening is done by unclipping, but like many models at this price. I'm thinking of sticking with this model for future shoe changes!

These shoes are a lot nicer than my old shoes due to the firm sole. Keep in mind that they fall small.

I used to have the RC500 and was very satisfied with it. The biggest downside here was the front adhesive strip that did not fully do its job. With the RC502 it does its job better, but would still prefer a BOA closure here too. For the rest, a top shoe for the keen hobby cyclist.

Excellent shoes, light, good sole rigidity, really comfortable, they really give the feeling of wrapping the foot. The only small flaw is that the BOA grips tend to loosen a bit with use, especially if you want to tighten them well, but it's not annoying and you can tighten them without stopping. Recommended, as always Mantel's shipping is excellent.

My toes are very tight. It's a good thing I went up a size, too: 46 for a size 45.

The shoe is incredibly comfortable, fits well and looks awesome! However, using the BOA closure system is something that takes some getting used to. Previously, I had only used lacing. Not for cycling shoes but for other shoes. But overall a great product.
